High Quality Truck Parts, and Flexatube; A legacy in Producing Exhaust Flex Pipe and Flexible Metal Tubing.

We here at HQ manufacture quality exhaust flex pipe under the name Flexatube. We make the Flexatube products in our Troy facility. We manufacture it the same today as we did in the beginning. Customers come to us because they’ve depended on us and this proven method. Customers trust our flex because of our long tradition making it right.

Manufactured in Troy Michigan, the heartland of America.

Very important, we started making flex pipe under the Flexatube brand in 1956. We created a roller method that allows us to guarantee the pipe you buy from us does not unravel. We know Customers love our pipe because it’s never returned for defects and they keep coming back for more. We have a secret sauce, it’s the way our rollers are designed and operate. This method strengthens the tightness of the wrap allowing us to guarantee this pipe will not unravel.

Customers continue to tell us;

“your HQ Flexatube brand exhaust flex pipe does not unravel!”

Variety of Steel Options all from the USA.

Our flex pipe is available in galvanized and stainless steel 304. The premium no rust option is stainless steel 304. Buy the lower cost galvanized option for light duty everyday use. Buy the the highest grade stainless steel option for long lasting, good looking, strongest steel available.

Not All Stainless Steel is The Same

We see abandoned carts on our site that make us think truckers are buying cheap stainless and thinking it’s like our high quality stainless 304. It’s not, don’t by inferior stainless thinking its the “good stuff.”

Do you know the difference between our high quality stainless 304 that is not prone to rust and other lesser, cheaper stainless options? There’s a reason our Stainless 304 is more expensive than what you find on other sites. These lesser quality won’t last or resist rusting like our high quality stainless 304. It’s worth the difference.

Gemini Says:

  • Corrosion Resistance: 304 is the winner here. It has a higher chromium and nickel content, making it much more resistant to rust and corrosion.

  • Magnetic: A magnet won’t stick to 304, but it will stick to 409. This is due to the lower chromium in 409.

  • Price: 304 is more expensive due to the additional nickel.

  • Applications:

    • 304: Ideal for applications needing excellent corrosion resistance, like kitchenware, sinks, and outdoor use.
    • 409: More budget-friendly option for moderate corrosion resistance, often used in car exhaust systems due to its high-temperature tolerance.
